Saturday Night:

On the Saturday night of conference Julie Cunningham is taking us on a Sound Journey. Here is what she says:

Juile Cunningham
I’m excited to be part of the upcoming Kinesiology Conference and to bring my offerings with a Sound Journey and also being able to provide some vibrantly charged crystals for sale.

As an energy worker I have been drawn to Kinesiology and am loving this modality. Seeing the potential and change in clients as they discover more about themselves and let go of old unserving energies.

My many years of facilitating sound journeys has led me to be holding space at workshops and retreats as well as facilitating monthly Sound Journeys in Magical Mangawhai.

I love to create a safe space where people can drop in deep, strengthen their connection to self and come away feeling much lighter and rejuvenated.

Experience Heart expansion with the Rose Quartz and platinum Alchemy bowl.

Feel the earthly drumming, the clarity of the crystal bowls as they sing, the playful chimes, soothing rainstick, the power of voice and more.

There is nothing you need to do but let the sounds wash over you.

Sound journeys are usually experienced lying down though you may choose to sit.

Speakers:

Educational Kinesiology Brain Gym

Janet de Witt – Kinesiology with Kids

Using Kinesiology with kids for over 30 years has helped Janet develop a few tricks and strategies. As not all children are compliant, far from it, a kinesiologist has to work quickly to establish rapport, do what needs to be done or what the child will allow in that session, and then set the home play. Buy-in for sceptical kids who claim you are pushing harder with the muscle testing or who want to be better at shooting goals rather than spelling is a balance between motivating the child and taking note of the reasons the parent brought them in the first place. Janet will be sharing ideas with some demonstrations.

Barbara Wards – Ears, Hearing, Sound Volume and Sound Orientation

Many people are overwhelmed by loud volume, and/or trying to hear a conversation they are having when there are other talkers and music around them…”the party problem.” Barbara has used this process for over thirty years now, with much success. Over these years she has had many students/clients who have ASD (autistic spectrum disorder) and they have ALL needed this.

Touch for Health Kinesiology

Colleen Ryan – Conflict Resolution 5 Element Release & Let Go

Relationships are challenging at times and it can feel like there is just no way to release the tired, stuck, hard and rigid feelings and thoughts that pop up around work colleagues, a boss, a family member, neighbour or one-time friend. Imagine if you could, within a few moments, release long-held hard and rigid stuck emotions and feelings and have that conflict resolved in you? Colleen takes us through an activity that aims to do just that so you can move forward with no attachment to the conflict.

Alex Bowles – The womb voice connection

Over the past years, Alex has been noticing and exploring the integral connection of the pelvis and throat physically as well as energetically. This has been presenting in her work with clients, from chronic TMJ issues to supporting fertility and trauma release. Alex will share some of her findings through the lenses of different kinesiology schools and techniques and a mini-balancing protocol of this womb-voice connection. By gaining understanding how they mirror each other we can feel how balancing and nourishing one benefits the other.

KANZ

Allene Gibson – Nurturing a thriving kinesiology community

Our journeys as solo practitioners in the world of healing and transformation may feel solitary at times, but the impact we all are having is far-reaching and profound. The value of nurturing this community for our world and the future generations to come is imperative. Coming together to actively nurture the growth of each and every one of us, will cultivate a strong and united community of kinesiology practitioners and friends. It is important to feel that we are not alone.
At this conference we will take some time to acknowledge our community, connect, embrace the energy that connects us and elevate this power within us all.

Hazel Hudson – Move, Play, Stretch, Feel, Breathe, Believe, Relax and enjoy in a safe space

Play and movement are important tools for mental, emotional health and well-being. It helps calm the body and mind, build confidence, and provide much needed fun. Relaxing is crucial, it helps manage stress, improve mood, and enhances our performance. Hazel will lead a session that will involve mirth, movement, meditation and mindfulness. She looks forward to playing with you.
